Abstract

This book presents the sometimes unique, occasionally overlapping, and often mutually reinforcing views of fourteen contemporary philosophers of religion on what is wrong with the status quo in philosophy of religion and, most importantly, how the field could be improved. The book falls into two parts. The chapters in Part 1 are about desirable changes to the focus of the field; those in Part 2 are about the standpoint from which philosophers of religion should approach their field.
