Study participants were asked if they would be willing to live their lives as social work educators again. Eighty-five percent responded that they definitely would. This chapter delineates the reasons for such a positive response, but also gives voice to the few who had negative reflections. Positive comments included the opportunity to follow one’s passion (they were able to answer a calling); having a positive impact on students (the most popular response); and collegial benefits (working with colleagues who share your values. But a few indicated that, if given the opportunity to relive their lives, they would have chosen other professions, such as becoming a fishing guide.
