The conclusion summarizes the major arguments of the book and provides a final analysis of the remaking of Alevism through nationalist and religio-secularist discourses inherent to the project of modernity. Particular emphasis is given to the role of historiographic and religiographic practices in the process of re-signification that rendered the Kızılbaş “Alevi.”
