Abstract

This book offers a novel vision of church through interdisciplinary conversation between performance studies, theater directors, and Christian theologians. Each chapter brings a theater director into dialogue with a theologian, teasing out how the concept of performance enriches hermeneutics, anthropology, and epistemology.
