Chapter 10 concludes the second and final section of the book by discussing some important consequences of the SPA for concepts used in the behavioral sciences. The concepts considered include representation, inference, concept, and dynamics. It is proposed that the SPA provides a uniquely unified view of representation, is able to underwrite a unification of conceptual phenomena, and help be more precise about kinds of inference. Dynamics are suggested to be more precisely and systematically characterized in the SPA, particular. The chapter concludes with an extended list of challenges that remain for the approach.

Keywords:   representation, inference, concepts, dynamics, SPA challenges, SPA consequences
