This chapter presents the basic features of the standard neuroeconomic model. The first goal is to provide a fairly unified notation, a single common language for the basic objects already known to be required by neuroeconomic discourse. The second goal is to summarize, in a general way, the main features of the human decision-making system.

Keywords:   neuroeconomic model, decision making, subjective value, neuroeconomic discourse
