This chapter examines the generalizability of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) across diverse populations, settings, communities, and nations. The crux of generalizing is this: does the intervention work with diverse users, in a variety of different settings, with routine practitioners, and without special conditions? To addresses these questions, the chapter reviews the evidence from studies of subgroups, including historically underserved minorities, from implementations in routine settings, and from international studies.
