Chapter 12 examines the provisions of the RTC and RTB which set out the broad policy and development frameworks for the two integration movements. It examines sectoral development policies in such areas as industry, agriculture, and transport. It provides an overview of the many common supportive measures to be implemented under the RTC, as well as the development and sectoral policies embraced by the OECS under the RTB. It concludes with a brief description of CARICOM’s built in agenda, which describes areas in which further protocols are to be developed to complete the CSME regime established by the RTC.
