This chapter presents Theodor Meron's statement to the UN Security Council as President of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. This is the third report presented to the Council since the adoption of Resolution 1534 in 2004, which requested the President and Prosecutor of each ad hoc Tribunal to provide the Council with assessments every six months detailing the progress made towards the realization of their respective completion strategies. Meron highlights the salient features of the report and provides the Council with an update of the information provided therein.
