This chapter presents tables of data on Switzerland and an account of its increased earnings distribution. It shows that the evidence for the distribution of earnings in Switzerland is of too short a duration to allow strong conclusions to be drawn about the long-run evolution, and the differences between the two sources complicate the interpretation of shorter run movements.
