Abstract

This survey of research on economic geography in two volumes is part of a series undertaken by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) since 1969, covering various social science disciplines. It aims to understand spatial organization vis-à-vis socio-economic development in India, during the period 2003–2009.
