This chapter takes the arguments of this book in a number of different directions. As a result of the impossibility of compartmentalizing the schools' aims as if peace and coexistence education could have an existence separate from other educational spheres, and in keeping with the anthropological parameters within which the research was conducted, the final thoughts of this book relate to wider paradigmatic topics in general education. In actual fact, without a critical examination of the concepts and conditions on and within which modern education rests, this chapter argues that peace education efforts are doomed to replicate the same ills of society they were designed to correct. This chapter also presents some thoughts on bilingualism and multiculturalism that resulted from the data gathered at the bilingual schools.
