This chapter discusses distributive implications of some parameters inside the economic evaluation formulae, as well as some priority-relevant issues that lie outside these formulae. It argues that an economic evaluation should always be complemented by a description of the equity implications of the programme. For this purpose an ‘equity checklist’ is proposed. Exercises and suggested readings are included at the end of the chapter.
