In theory, there are certain things that should not happen. However, in practice, they actually do happen. Managerial theory, like other forms of thought, have attempted to rationalize and veer away from the possibilities brought about by errors, such as luck, chance, paradoxes, and other such concepts while being grounded on rationality and control. We tend to not entertain thoughts of a fuzzy world with an occluded nature and instead dwell on control and the clarity of certain visions. This book attempts to come up with measures that utilize the recent developments of social science theory to provide an explanation about practical theory. In the world of management, traditional Western approaches often involve dualisms. This chapter examines how fuzzy thinking suggests how Aristotelian binary thought should be perceived as a measure for simplifying the complex world in spite of how simplification distorts reality.
