This chapter starts by looking at propositional attitudes. The second section briefly discusses the intentionality of linguistic symbols, the intentionality of the grammatical forms employed in attributions of propositional attitudes, the intentionality arising out of content expressions which have no referents, and the intentionality arising out of the interplay of sense and reference of content expressions. The third section examines perspectival intentionality. The fourth section looks into dispositional intentionality, the deepest intentionality associated with the propositional attitudes. The remaining sections describe the nature of dispositions and dispositional attributions; distinctions regarding the categorical base of dispositions; propositional-attitude attributions as attributions of multiple, and fluid and unstable-based determinable dispositions; the cause-grounds-nature distinction in regard to belief; literal and metaphorical attributions of the propositional attitudes to ourselves and others; the propositional-attitude expressions as descriptive, predictive, and behaviour-grinding; and propositional attitudes as folk psychology.

Keywords:   perspectival intentionality, linguistic symbols, propositional attitudes, dispositional intentionality, folk psychology, dispositions, attributions, behaviour-grinding
