This chapter, while highlighting the essential goodness of creation, argues that God will create new realizations of value, which will be included in one ever-extending and perfectly appreciated experience of actualized value. There is accordingly at least an analogue of time in God, though the divine time transcends the elements of separation, loss, and anxiety which are parts of a human experience of time. Divine time is qualitatively different from creaturely time. It is an unlimited possession of creative life, not a desperate clinging to an always-vanishing present.
