The author sails from Bussora and presents an account of his voyage. He describes the Persian Gulf, the Sea of Oman, and the Indian Ocean. He arrives in Bombay, where he is hospitably received by the Governor. He comments on Bombay, the Parsees and other native inhabitants, the fort, and the Mohammedan inhabitants. The author embarks for Bengal, arrives in Balasore roads, anchors in the Ganges, and proceeds to Calcutta.
