This chapter describes selected major national and regional clinical organizations and their various approaches to supporting, sustaining, and institutionalizing clinical legal education in their respective countries and regions. It also discusses their major goals and initiatives, as well as their contributions to the global clinical movement. Following a brief overview outlining the basic components of these clinical organizations, the chapter focuses on particular organizations in the United States, Africa, China, Central and Eastern Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Southeast Asia. It concludes with the observation that these organizations, individually and collectively, have played an important role in enabling clinical legal education to advance as a global movement.
