After five years in Hartford, Osipenko returned permanently to St. Petersburg in 2000. She began coaching for the Mikhailovsky ballet, the former Maly where Osipenko had created Tchernichov’s Cleopatra in 1968. In this chapter, Osipenko’s career and personality are summed up.
