Objections and Replies
This chapter develops compatibilist replies to the most popular styles of argument for incompatibilism (consequence-style arguments and manipulation arguments), and concludes that these arguments leave compatibilism in the running. Differences among various kinds of compatibilism, including semicompatibilism, are examined.
