With the exception of the Order of the Solar Temple, analysts do not usually consider other examples of NRM violence in Europe. This chapter recounts the narrative of a series of murders that took place in the Knutby Filadelfia community. He concludes that the violence should perhaps be understood as a combination of lack of external control, social interaction among a tight community of charismatic ministers, a theology of eroticism and death, and the egoism and psychopathology of the murderers.
