Metallic nanoclusters can display a high-Tc superconducting state if the cluster parameters satisfy certain but perfectly realistic conditions. In principle, Tc can be increased to room temperature. The electronic states form energy shells, and this is a key feature of nanoclusters. Josephson junctions can be used to construct cluster-based networks.
