Rationality in Thought and Action
This chapter presents a short version of a theory of rationality developed by the author over many years. It considers both theoretical rationality (the kind central in epistemology and focusing above all on belief) and practical rationality (the kind central for motivation and action). The chapter connects rationality with experience on the foundational side and with reasoning on the developmental side.
