Abstract

This book, which provides an introduction to the field of nanoelectronics, explains the physical phenomena that take place in nanoelectronic structures and explains how these phenomena are accessed in measurements. The emphasis is on phenomena taking place at low temperatures, where thermal noise cannot completely suppress the interesting physics. The book details the theory of the phenomena as much as possible without the use of heavy formalism.
