Chapter 1 gave an overview of some models of research transfer in the policy literature. This final chapter takes up that discussion again, exploring how researchers can understand and use the policy change process to actively manage the dissemination and impact of their research. It discusses the elements of dissemination, a key challenge of dissemination, using networks to disseminate research, forums for policy dissemination, and translation policy research into scholarly research forums.
