Narrative and storytelling in palliative care education and training
This chapter provides an introduction to a range of approaches in the use of narrative in teaching and learning. This introduction includes history taking, reflective practice, action research, and appreciative inquiry. A powerful case study is also presented in this chapter, which shows how narrative can be used to teach medical students about working closely with death and dying.
