A Prophet Like Moses: Prophecy, Law, and Israelite Religion addresses two of the oldest and most persistent problems in biblical studies: the relationship between prophecy and law in the Hebrew Bible and the utility of the Documentary Hypothesis for understanding Israelite religion.
