Antitrust, State Aid, and the Governance of Public Undertakings
This chapter examines the governance of public undertakings. Topics discussed include the concept of undertaking, public undertakings under EC law, undertakings with exclusive or special rights and undertakings entrusted with services of general economic interest, unbundling in the energy industry, and measurement of cost and benefits for Europe flowing from the application of competition rules to public undertakings.
