Fletcher on Offences and Defences
This chapter evaluates the contribution to the theory of criminal defences of George Fletcher, author of the seminal work Rethinking Criminal Law. It revisits the themes of Chapters 4, 5, and 6; assimilates them, and reflects on the way that they are influenced by, or conflict with, Fletcher's ideas on the same subjects.
