Representation 2: Representation and Simulation
This chapter both continues the discussion of the actor network approach and the centrality to it of the notion of translation between different forms of stability and change. It also returns to the theme of representation introduced in Chapter 2. It shows how representation, as an organizing principle, lies at the very core of the mediations that translation seeks to trace.
