Nutritional epidemiology
This chapter on nutritional epidemiology illustrates the application of epidemiology to two conditions. One is associated with undernutrition — the relation of iodine deficiency to fetal brain damage. The other is associated with overnutrition — the fall in mortality due to coronary heart disease.
