This chapter discusses the organization of equilibrium networks. These include the classical random graphs, uncorrelated and correlated networks, and the Watts–Strogatz model (small-world networks). The chapter starts with a general discussion of equilibrium network models and then explains how to build a number of specific equilibrium networks.
