The multi-set Procrustes problem may be viewed as a part of the family of three-mode multidimensional scaling methods. This chapter discusses links with other three-mode methods, especially PINDIS, INDSCAL, STATIS, SMACOF, ALSCAL, and generalizations of canonical correlation.
