This chapter discusses a proposal of a simple model that would allow discussions on the optimal taxation of land and the optimal pricing of transportation. This proposal was made after it was determined that the current models were not completely suited to the analysis of land use and transportation. The model proposed in this chapter includes two basic indivisibilities that are rather important in geographical economics.
