The Zoroastrian Diaspora

John R. Hinnells

Oxford University Press

This chapter examines the history of the Trust Funds of Europe and Zoroastrians in Great Britain, France, and Germany. There are a number of key turning points in the history of Zoroastrians in Britain, which have affected the nature of the community here. The early travelers reinforced Parsi perceptions of their relations with the British and the educational priorities of leading members in the old country. This chapter explores the pattern of Parsis settlement in these three countries.
