Despite being an important figure and a close friend of Mahatma Gandhi, Jamnalal Bajaj has not been included in modern depictions of the struggle for a free India. This book sheds more light on the life and achievements of Jamnalal, the adopted grandson of a wealthy Marwari merchant, Seth Bachhraj. It shows how he handled the businesses he inherited from his grandfather and how his search for a guru led him to his meeting with Gandhi.
