Future Research
This chapter provides some directions for future research on a number of methodological and theoretical fronts. It considers theoretical development, such as types of discrepancies and the testing of important processes from other theories. This is followed by a discussion of the methodological innovations, and ends with a section on some unexplored issues in identity theory.
