It was Yusuf who set up the meeting with Ahmad Yasin, founder and “spiritual leader” of Hamas. Since a childhood accident, the sheikh had been confined to a wheelchair. But since the translator would not arrive until the afternoon, a certain Ibrahim invited the authors to his home. There, he asked a series of pointing questions, such as who was funding their project, whether the interview would be published in the Israel press, and what their religion was. It turned out that he only wanted a little fun with them.
