The “Neo-Bolshevik” Privatizer
This chapter presents an interview granted by Anatoly Chubais, who was an architect of Russian privatization, an enormous task for an economy in which all means of production had been state owned. He explains his views on the distribution of vouchers as the first stage of asset distribution, leading to the next stage of property concentration that will eventually restructure enterprise.
