Regular Sequences of Orientation Shifts in Monkeys
This chapter presents a paper entitled “Sequence Regularity and Geometry of Orientation Columns in Monkey Striate Cortex”. This paper is concerned with the geometry of orientation columns, establishing that they are slabs perpendicular to the cortical surface, discussing whether the slabs are discrete or continuous, and the question of the orderliness of the sequences.
