Application of the Framework to Practice: Assessment
This chapter discusses the assessment phase the community capacity-enhancement framework. It provides various perspectives on and approaches to assessment from an assets viewpoint. The assessment phase generally consists of multiple strategies, activities, and tasks and is greatly influenced by the goals of the organization that undertakes the assessment. Consequently, no “magic” formula can be recommended because local factors dictate the nature of the assessment.
