The limits of stereoscopic vision
This chapter begins with a discussion of basic terminology and tasks, tests of stereoscopic vision, and stereoacuity. It then covers spatial factors in stereoacuity, luminance contrast and stereopsis, disparity and spatial scale, stereoacuity and eye movements, temporal factors in stereopsis, and experiential and practice effects.
