This chapter provides a synthesis of the topics discussed in this book. It summarizes the findings developed by the author throughout the book in regard to the knowledge of birth, growth, and success of high-technology firms. Specifically, it attempts to answer the question of what matters in generating technological entrepreneurs and their new enterprises and what determines their growth and success. It also identifies additional desirable insight that needs to be learned and provides evidence of recent trends as well as including the author's own opinions on the future of technological entrepreneurship in America and abroad.
