Abstract

This book addresses the question of how parenting contributes to the development of theory of mind in children. It looks at both individual differences among children and the commonalities that characterize such development. As a necessary prelude to a consideration of the conjunction of the two topics, the book opens with separate chapters devoted to theory of mind and to parenting.
