This chapter relates reminiscences of C. S. Lewis, W. H. Lewis, their father Albert Lewis, and the entire family. It gives memorable accounts of summer holidays with Jack, as well as of his pranks and kindnesses as a don in Oxford. The chapter also includes memories of Lewis as a child, passed down from, Dr. Joseph T. Lewis, who was one of Lewis’s closest childhood companions.
