This short appendix provides a brief summary of the constituent parts of the European Representation Study. This consisted of four distinct survey operations: The European Election Study 1994; the European Candidates Study 1994, the Study of Members of the European Parliament 1996, and the European Members of Parliament Study. Technical details are reported for each.
