Political Attitudes and Political Behaviour
This chapter reviews the hypotheses, examined by the volumes in the ‘Beliefs in government’ project, of trends in social and political attitudes in Western Europe. It examines the theoretical issues concerning the identification of comparative trends, about interest in participation in the political process, from the interpretation of the empirical data.
