UK Monetary Policy Since 1971
Is a short description of monetary policy since 1971. It provides a brief overview of the monetary controls that will form the basis of the next few chapters. It then has a summary of the basic policies undertaken by Heath, Wilson, Callaghan, and Thatcher, and the major events that influenced monetary policy.
