The Issue of Divine Eternity
Discusses two methodological issues. The first is whether a non‐philosophical text such as the Bible may be said to express or imply philosophical ideas about God. An example is taken from a recent discussion of the doctrinal implications of certain passages in the New Testament. The second is whether God's greatness or perfection is an argument that favours him being timelessly eternal.
