Innovation processes must respect the boundaries of human cognitive abilities. Practical innovations must take into account consumer needs and factors that affect consumer acceptance of those ideas. To facilitate the development of tools to support the innovation process, this book presents chapters that are multidisciplinary collaborations among researchers that illuminate the underlying psychological mechanisms of innovation and present new methods for facilitating innovation. This book represents the most comprehensive collection of research on the development of innovation tools to date.
